Course Overview

On completion of this unit, learners will have knowledge and skills in supervising scaffold erection and dismantling work activities in construction and other industries.

 

Learning Objectives

After completion of the course, participants will be able to equip knowledge and application skills in carrying out supervision on scaffold erection and dismantling work competently to meet WSH legislative requirements.

 

Target Participants

The "Supervise Metal Scaffold Erection" is a mandatory WSH training course for all workers supervising scaffolding works in construction sites and related industries.

 

Pre-Requisites

Learners are assumed to:

·         Successfully completed the Metal Scaffold Erection Course or WSQ Perform Metal Scaffold Erection Course

·         Employability Skills (ES) Workplace Literacy Level 4 and above

·         Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES Workplace Numeracy Level 4 and above

 

Learning Methodologies

Theory and practical lesson, individual/group learning activity, discussion on case studies, video show, written and practical assessment

Course Duration

10 days (75 hours)

  

Certification

Upon completion of the course and passing the written and practical assessment, a pass and Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be issued to the participant.
