Course Overview

Supervise Work in Confined Space Operation is one of the core units which specifies the skills and knowledge to perform the duties or a supervisor working in a confined space.

 

Learning Objectives

At the end of the course, the learners should be able to:

·         perform the duties of a supervisor working in a confined space

·         understand and comply with legal and operational requirements with respect to workplace safety and health

 

Target Participants

The course is designed for supervisors, rescue personnel, manager, HSSE personnel, and engineers who are involved in supervision of confined space operation.

 

Assumed Skills and Knowledge

Learners are assumed to:

·         listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) level 5

·         manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ESS Level 5

Theory lesson, individual/group learning activity, written assessment

Certification

Upon completion of the course and passing the written and practical assessment, a pass and Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be issued to the participant.
